We had quite a time in Fairbanks!  The Midnight Sun Solstice Festival was held on Sunday.  There were lots of craft and food booths.  We also went to Golddredge 8 – a Historical Site/Park and panned for gold.  We found $33 worth! We also got to see the Alaska Pipeline up close and personal. That afternoon we went on the Discovery Riverboat tour. We saw a bush plane take off and land, watched a sled dog demonstration, visited a Chena Indian village, and enjoyed seeing the houses up and down the river.
