We crossed into Canada today!  The border people really couldn’t believe that two trucks from Texas didn’t have any guns.  We didn’t.  We had done our research.  We had cleaned out the refrigerator and didn’t have any fresh fruits or veggies either.  So there.  We follow the rules.  They talked to us for what seemed like quite a while, but they did a short cursory inspection of the Koether rig.  Then they let us go.  We decided to stop in Hope for a nights stay at the Coquihalla campground.  Just up the road a bit was the Othello Tunnels, and that was just what we needed – a short hike.  Amazing views of the granite walls of the canyon – and Rambo:First Blood was filmed here.
